Reiki is a laying on hands approach. It is an unseen life force energy that flows through us which causes us to be alive. If our life force energy is low or blocked we are more likely to become ill either physically, emotionally or mentally. If it is high we are more capable of being healthy and happy. Reiki is a Japanese word : Rei means universal and Ki means life force energy. It is a spiritually guided, deeply relaxing alternative method of healing treating mind, body and spirit. The many benefits of reiki include: * Removing negative thoughts * Increasing well-being, harmony and peace * Supports the body's ability to heal itself * Reduces stress * Frees up blocked energy * Promotes better sleep * Induces mental relaxation * Lowers blood pressure * Cleanses toxins out the body It is a great way to rebalance holistically and therapeutically. Often when guided, crystals will be incorporated into the session, this can be laying them on various parts of the body or getting the client to hold them. Crystals have properties that facilitate healing and by using certain crystals can help to calm down or energise the body as needed. Some people experience immediate changes following a treatment, others find it works on a subtler level. When reiki treatments are continued on a regular basis you will start to feel better physically and emotionally and your inner light will start to shine.
